New withholding tables produce mixed results.

Due to the enactment of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, employers will be using new withholding tables by April 1, 2009. As a result, some employees will be underwithheld and may incur underpayment penalties unless they submit revised Forms W-4.
